The President of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, Professor Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi, accompanied by Professor Dr. Ahmed Ghanem Wadai, the University’s Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, and in the company of the Dean of Al-Musayyib Technical College, Dr. Ali Al-Zubaidi, along with several community figures, inspected the ongoing construction and development projects at Al-Musayyib Technical College. The visit aimed to review the stages of completion and the progress achieved at the site of the new student housing complex (Phase One). The President also reviewed the work at the complex, which includes modern student dormitories, equipped with kitchen and sanitary facilities, as well as a dedicated reading hall, emphasizing the importance of these projects in providing a suitable residential and educational environment for the students.
During the visit, the University President received a detailed briefing from the project supervisors on the work mechanisms and the plans for the second phase of the complex, which will increase its capacity and include additional facilities to serve the students.
The tour also included an inspection of the new student club building, where the President confirmed that the work is progressing according to the scheduled timeline. The project is expected to be completed and inaugurated after the upcoming Ramadan.
During his visit, the University President emphasized the importance of these vital projects in supporting the advancement of technical education and developing the College’s infrastructure, stressing the necessity of adhering to the highest standards of quality and safety to ensure that students benefit from these facilities as soon as possible.
For his part, the Dean of the College, Dr. Ali Al-Zubaidi, expressed his gratitude to the University President for his continuous support and follow-up, noting that these development projects will significantly enhance the College’s service levels and infrastructure, thereby strengthening the educational and academic process.
This inspection is part of the University President’s ongoing field oversight of various construction and development projects, ensuring that they are completed with the required precision and quality within the designated timelines.
