The President of the Jurists’ Union, Najaf Al-Ashraf Branch, Mr. Faez Al-Fahham, accompanied by several members of the administrative board, visited Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University.
He was received by Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abdul-Muhsin Al-Majtoumi, along with Dr. Haider Al-Khoza’i, Director of the Legal Affairs Department.
During the meeting, the branch president presented the Union’s work program that it seeks to implement, and proposed signing a memorandum of understanding between the Union and the University, which would include organizing joint workshops and seminars.
For his part, the Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs emphasized the importance of joint cooperation and affirmed the University’s readiness to contribute to drafting the Jurists’ Union Law, enabling the University to play an active role in its formulation and development.
Al-Majtoumi expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the President of the Najaf Al-Ashraf Branch of the Union, praising his significant efforts in serving the jurists’ community and enhancing their professional role in serving various segments of society.
