The President of the Middle Euphrates Technical University, Professor Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi, attended the launch of the Fourth Scientific Day activities of the Martyr Nasser Specialized Center for Dentistry, accompanied by the Dean of the Institute of Nanotechnology for Postgraduate Studies, Professor Dr. Bashar Jabbar Hamza.

The conference was held in the presence of the Governor of Najaf, Eng. Youssef Kanawi; the Chairman of the Najaf Provincial Council, Mr. Hussein Al-Issawi; the Director General of Najaf Health Directorate, Dr. Abdullah Al-Ghazali; and the Head of the Dentists Syndicate – Najaf Branch, Dr. Salam Al-Araji, in addition to a number of dentists and healthcare personnel. The event commenced with a welcoming speech delivered by the Center’s Director, Dr. Ahmed Al-Kadhimi.

This was followed by a series of specialized scientific lectures addressing the latest developments in the field of dentistry, as well as approaches to enhancing the quality of therapeutic services provided to citizens. The sessions also included discussions of various clinical cases and practical experiences, reflecting the level of scientific advancement achieved by the center.

In his speech during the event, the Center’s Director emphasized that organizing this scientific day reflects the administration’s commitment to strengthening academic and training aspects, and to fostering cooperation with health and scientific institutions. Such efforts aim to develop the skills of medical personnel and improve the quality of services delivered.

He further noted that the center has witnessed a qualitative advancement in healthcare services in recent years through the introduction of modern technologies and the expansion of its operational scope, in a manner that meets citizens’ needs and keeps pace with developments in this vital specialization. He also commended the significant efforts of the medical, technical, and administrative staff, whose contributions have been instrumental in achieving these accomplishments.

The event also included a segment honoring a number of distinguished and supportive figures in recognition of their efforts in advancing the center’s scientific and service-oriented mission, as well as their contributions to the development of the healthcare sector in the province.

This scientific day represents an important platform for the exchange of expertise and knowledge among specialists and for strengthening collaboration among healthcare institutions. It contributes positively to improving the quality of healthcare services provided to citizens and underscores the leading role played by the Martyr Nasser Specialized Center for Dentistry in serving the community.
