The President of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, Professor Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi, inaugurated an art exhibition and an awareness-raising theatrical performance organized by the Department of Forensic Evidence Technologies (a newly established department), on the sidelines of his visit to the Technical Institute of Babylon. This event forms part of a series of scientific and cultural activities aimed at developing students’ skills and enhancing their societal awareness.
The event was attended by the Dean of the Institute, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Najah Kadhim, along with a number of assistant deans and heads of scientific departments, in addition to a gathering of academic staff and students.
The exhibition featured distinguished student works that embodied the concepts and modern methodologies of forensic evidence, while the theatrical performance highlighted the role of this specialization in serving society and promoting the principles of justice through addressing real-life issues in a purposeful artistic manner.
The University President commended the high standard of the presented activities, emphasizing the importance of supporting newly established departments and providing an appropriate environment for their development, in a way that contributes to preparing specialized cadres capable of meeting the demands of the labor market.
