The President of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, Professor Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi, received in his office the Director of Kufa Education, Mr. Jassim Al-Ameri.
During the meeting, ways of enhancing joint cooperation between Al-Furat University and the Kufa Directorate of Education were discussed, particularly in the fields of education and scientific research, as well as the development of the educational and pedagogical process in the governorate.
The University President emphasized the importance of cooperation between the University and the Directorate of Education in order to achieve shared goals and advance the educational process in the governorate. The meeting also addressed the discussion, follow-up, and assessment of the nature of services and challenges facing educational staff, resulting from the increasing number of students admitted to schools within the residential neighborhood of the University employees and the surrounding areas.
For his part, the Director of Kufa Education commended the role played by Al-Furat University in serving the local community and affirmed the Directorate’s readiness to cooperate with the University across various fields.
He also expressed his sincere appreciation and gratitude to the University President for his recent donation of a plot of land designated for the construction of an integrated school complex to serve the children of the University’s residential neighborhood and adjacent areas.
Furthermore, he provided a detailed overview of the nature of work and services offered to educational staff and citizens, in addition to discussing several key issues, most notably the provision of an attractive educational environment through effective communication and the building of positive relationships among staff of educational and academic institutions. The significance of this visit lies in strengthening relations in a manner that positively reflects on the interests of education and contributes to building a generation that is beneficial to its country.
The meeting was attended by the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Ahmed Ghanem Wadi, along with a number of officials from Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University and the Kufa Directorate of Education.
