In pursuit of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and enhancing the university environment as well as developing the infrastructure and educational facilities of the university’s formations within its geographical scope, and as part of the continuous follow-up by the President of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, Professor Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi, on the progress of the educational process and the ongoing construction and development projects at the University Presidency and its formations,

the University President conducted an inspection visit to the Higher Institute of Nanotechnology, where he met with the Dean of the Institute, Professor Dr. Bashar Jaber Hamza, and the senior academic and administrative staff. During the visit, he reviewed the completion rates achieved in the construction and development projects and presented his observations, emphasizing the necessity of adhering to approved engineering specifications and the designated project timelines. He also called for expediting the completion of these projects to establish an exemplary university environment for postgraduate students.

The University President was accompanied during the inspection visit by the Assistant Presidents for Scientific and Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Ahmed Ghanem Wadai and Professor Dr. Mohammed Abdulmohsin Al-Mujtomi.

For his part, the Dean of the Institute briefed the University President on the Institute’s diligent efforts to implement its academic programs and the progress achieved in infrastructure development projects, which are aligned with the goals and mission of the University to ensure the provision of high-quality higher education.
