Under the slogan “From the Land of Mesopotamia, Ideas Emerge,” and in the distinguished presence of the ministerial team, a selection of company representatives, guests, the Assistant to the University President for Administrative Affairs, several deans, department directors from the University Presidency, and a large gathering of staff and students, Professor Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi, President of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, inaugurated the central celebration of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Week and the Annual Job Fair at Najaf Technical Institute, with close supervision by the Institute Dean, Professor Dr. Haider Hassan Al-Abdali.
In his welcoming speech during the opening ceremony, the University President emphasized the importance of the University’s role and strategic plans in fostering entrepreneurial thinking and supporting innovation as a cornerstone for building the national economy and developing youth skills.
The session also included a specialized lecture delivered by Dr. Dargham Hassan Al-Abdali, Dean of the Administrative Technical College, in which he addressed the concepts of entrepreneurship and the main challenges facing young entrepreneurs. The lecture provided a comprehensive overview of project types and promising ventures that graduates can pursue as successful professional paths beyond traditional frameworks, contributing to the promotion of self-employment culture and active integration into the labor market.
