1-management, organization and follow-up of student affairs for students of primary studies at Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University and coordination of all related with the relevant authorities inside and outside Iraq .
2-follow-up the implementation of the plan of admission of preliminary studies to the faculties and institutes of the University for the morning and evening studies.
3-preparing educational evaluation studies related to various student phenomena and providing appropriate recommendations when requested or issuing laws or instructions that should be evaluated .
4-managing and organizing the admission of graduates of the professional branch to the university institutes through a special committee proposed to be formed annually .
5-signing the documents and Wall certificates of graduates of colleges and institutes that are accompanied by the approval of the Ministry of foreign affairs .
6-supervising the performance of work in the divisions of the department, following up the activities of employees and distributing tasks
And responsibilities among the employees of the department in a way that contributes to the development and improvement of work performance .
7-representing the University in scientific and educational conferences and seminars, permanent and temporary committees related to Student Affairs.
8-provide a reading about the student issues raised in the councils of colleges and institutes .
9-addressing the faculties and institutes of the University and answering all inquiries related to Student Affairs

Tasks and duties
1-organizing the admission of distinguished employees from the graduates of the preparatory study in its various branches (scientific, literary, professional )and distributing them to the institutes after being nominated by the ministry / central admission .
2-nomination of distinguished employees from the faculties and institutes of the University from the graduates of preparatory schools and institutes, checking their forms and deciding the names of candidates according to the points of differentiation and the number of seats allocated for each specialty and sending them to the ministry .
3-follow-up the organization of admission of graduates of the professional branch to the institutes annually and with the authorization of the Ministry of higher education and scientific research through a central committee in the presidency of the University, where the Central Admission is shown after entering the data of the applied students .
4-admission of nursing graduates annually to the university institutes after being nominated by the Ministry of health according to the numbers planned for admission .
5-organizing the admission of Arab and foreign students in our colleges and institutes after receiving them from the ministry / central admission and according to the approved channels and instructions that regulate their admission .
6-checking the information of the graduates of the institutes (10%) after receiving it from the colleges and institutes and sending it to the ministry / central admission to show their acceptance in the colleges
7 – implementing the admission of graduates of the scientific and literary branch after the appearance of the Central Admission Results and sending their admission lists and minimum limits to colleges and institutes annually .
8-organizing the admission of students of previous years and sending them to colleges and institutes after receiving them from the ministry / central admission .
9-organizing the admission of holders of equivalent certificates after their nomination by the ministry / central admission .
10-organizing the admission of certified teachers in our technical colleges after receiving them from the Ministry of Higher Education /
11-organizing the transfer of students between colleges and institutes affiliated to the University and other universities according to the instructions received from the ministry.
12-transfer students from technical colleges to government colleges in Iraqi universities and vice versa, according to the instructions of the ministry .
English: 13-transfer the first students from the private colleges to the technical colleges at the University .
14-implementation of the admission of the first 10% of the graduates of the institutes .
15-follow-up of the student database .
16-follow-up electronic audit of accepted students ‘ documents .
17-follow-up the organization of the curriculum vitae of students in colleges and institutes .

Preparing and organizing unified forms for the mural certificate and documents that are accompanied by the approval of the Ministry of foreign affairs and follow-up with colleges and institutes .
2-follow-up the procedure of ratifications of Wall documents and certificates in the Ministry of foreign affairs / the ratifications received from colleges and institutes and return them to them after completion .
3-supporting the validity of the issuance of documents, wall certificates and certificates issued by colleges and institutes, which are sent to the university presidency by various ministries and departments from inside and outside Iraq, in addition to Arab and international organizations after contacting the colleges and institutes from which they were issued .
4-dealing with cases of forgery of graduates and students and follow-up with the ministry and the relevant authorities in the Departments of other ministries .
5-providing the ministry and the Office of the inspector general with monthly reports on all health books issued by colleges and institutes .
6-handling cases of lost records of graduates in colleges and institutes .
Alumni and certifications division
Tasks and duties
1-Send all decisions and instructions for graduate students from the ministry to the faculties and institutes of the University and follow up the implementation of the answer
2-ssuing University orders for graduate students from the faculties and institutes of the University for the first, second and complementary roles
3-follow-up treatment of cases of graduate students and send them to the ministry
4-sending the names of the graduate students of the faculties and institutes of the University Health and medical departments to the Ministry of Health for the first and second and complementary roles to include them by appointment
According to the medical graduation system
5-determining the names of the first students on the faculties and institutes of the University and sending them to the ministry for the purpose of honoring them
6-determining the names of the top 10% of students at institutes for the purpose of completing their initial studies
7-following up the objections of graduate students ( correcting the name-rates-sequences of graduates) and sending them to the faculties and institutes of the University
8-answering the books issued by the Financial Control Department regarding graduate students
9-the uncles of the books for naming the graduation course to all colleges and institutes of the University
And send it to the ministry for the purpose of naming the graduation course
10-follow-up the determination of the graduation date for the first and second round and distribute it to all faculties and institutes of the University
11-follow-up of the audit of colleges and institutes for the documents of the preparatory study accepted in each of them for each academic year
12-certifying and issuing certificates and documents, which are accompanied by the approval of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and returning them to colleges and institutes
13-approving and issuing certificates and documents, which are accompanied by the University’s approval and returning them to colleges and institutes.
14-sending the authorized books from the faculties and institutes of the university to the ministry for the purpose of certification
15-follow-up of outgoing and incoming mail.
